This book is a compendium of contemporary management themes under the auspices of the Management Academic Forum established in 2016. The reviews are based on studies carried out at the Doctoral level by nine distinguished academics inspired by the works and teachings of renowned scholars like Emeritus Professor Augustine Ahiauzu, Professor Bedford A. Fubara, Professor, Seth Accra Jaja, and Professor Donald Ibama Hamilton among others. The book sought to address the dearth of contributions to the literature in contemporary organizational studies by African based scholars, and from African based studies. Thus, this largely theoretical work grew out of the Ph.D. Theses of the contributors, and addressed such themes as Worker Competence Management, Corporate Culture, Impression Management, Organisational Citizenship Behaviour, Employee Voice, Intellectual Capital, Knowledge Management, Social Identity, Intellectual Capital Management, Corporate Sustainability, and Spirituality Leadership. The ten chapters each review these themes with emphasis on how the practice of the management principles has impacted contemporary African work organizations.
