The Book entitled CONTEMPORARY STUDY ON THE ETIOPATHOLOGY OF DIABETES MELLITUS IN AURVEDA primarily focused on the scientific principles of Ayurveda in the manifestation of Diabetes Mellitus, a very common Life Style Disorder. In this Book main emphasis is given on the Etiological and Pathological factors which plays pivotal role in the manifestation of disease. Previous authors have not tried to explore the role of Kleda which is an important etiopathological factor among the other factors as referred in the Ayurvedic classical texts. Symptoms like burning sensation in the sole and palms, bad breaths and turbidity of urine are the most commonly found symptoms and are difficult to explain in terms of modern pathology. In this book an attempt is made to explore the newer concept of etiopathology of Diabetes Mellitus with the help of ancient Ayurvedic concepts.
