Produktbeschreibung
The interest in researching the subject of 'teacher educators' began with the researcher reflecting on her own teaching practice in higher education, as well as observing and relating to teacher educators with whom I have shared teaching activity (for ten years on degree courses in physics, chemistry, maths and biology). Linked to this group of teachers, the role of the university is another point of interest in our research work, since it is assumed that the university is not a neutral field where there are no conflicts; on the contrary, the relationship between university and society is real and within it the same contradictions and social conflicts are also revealed. Thinking about higher education, teacher training, initial training and the curriculum implies that, as well as socialising knowledge, it is necessary to understand its production conditions.
