work is Mathematics in English. Dedicated both to

overview of methods and strategies used in CLIL
lessons, linking them to the respective trends in
education. It maps CLIL-related opinions and
attitudes of various Prague secondary school
representatives, analyzes them and formulates the
motivational aspects as well as the diverse obstacles
in the way of wider CLIL implementation. Furthemore,
it features a comprehensive description of a complex
tried and tested CLIL lesson plan, analyzing the
content, linguistic and
cognitive components and anticipated problems. This
analysis a priori is accompanied by an elaborate

Autorenporträt
Lenka Tejkalová graduated in English and Mathematics at Charles
University. Having focused on CLIL throughout her studies, she
continues in this field with her PhD. She also teaches at a
secondary school in Prague, Czech Republic.
