The book starts by examining obstacles to peace and identifies some of these obstacles and how they mediate the conflict and peace process in Africa. The second section of this book explores the contribution of Kenya to Peace processes in Africa. In this regard, he focuses on Kenya's foreign policy and its implication on diplomacy with special emphasis on the diplomacy of conflict management'. The third section of this book looks at Kenya as a country polarized by low intensity conflict that exploded to countrywide violence in 2007.
