With the advent of the SARS- CoV-2 pandemic, restrictions were imposed on the movement of people and, consequently, social distancing, given the lack of knowledge about the transmission of the virus. With this, many establishments had to be closed and their activities developed remotely, so that, in this way, contagion could be minimized. The education sector was one of the most impacted, since, initially, all institutions were deprived of teaching in person, regardless of the level of education, whether basic or higher, thus adopting distance learning as an alternative. With the possibility of returning to face-to-face classes, it is necessary to adopt preventive measures against Covid-19 to make it safe. For this, through extensive bibliographic research, a general and sectorial return protocol was elaborated, so that safety measures are developed for the development of the activities. It is hoped that the suggested protocols will be continuously improved and enhanced by governments, institutions, and the community as a measure to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
