Magali Saddi Duarte es profesora adjunta del Centro de Enseñanza e Investigación Aplicada a la Educación de la Universidad Federal de Goiás e investigadora del CNPq. Es licenciada en Lenguas Modernas-Inglés y doctora en Educación por la Universidad Federal de Goiás.
