This study dealt with the assessment of continuous professional development, classroom pedagogical practices, episodes in teaching and classroom engagements of the junior high school mathematics teachers in the First and Second Districts of Samar for the School Year 2016-2017. It utilized the descriptive-assessment research method using a questionnaire administered among the respondents as data gathering technique.Moreover, the profile of the respondents in terms of age, teaching experience, relevant training, sex, civil status, and field of specialization were also determined and correlated to the continuous development program, classroom pedagogical practices and episodes of teaching and classroom engagements. The results were statistically treated, analyzed and interpreted using frequency, percentage distribution and analysis of variance for test of difference and Pearson r for test of relationship.The findings showed that there was no significant relationship between the continuous professional development practices of teachers to their classroom pedagogical practices, while few of CPDPs had significant relationship to the performance of episodes of classroom & learning.
