Kabiguru Sadhu Ramchand Murmu left his home and relatives for the development of the Santali nation and engaged himself in the pursuit of immortal literature. We must appreciate Sadhu Ramchand Murmu for his dedication and hard work. He truly was a pioneer of Sari Dharam. At that time, the people of Santal society were puzzled by superstition and iniquity. Consuming alcohol, and drugs led to the destruction of the Santali family and financial condition. They lost their lands, their wealth as well as their families shattered down into pieces. At a little distance from the villages, whole night functions, dance, and music took place the whole night. In the name of enjoyment, there took place so many demeaned activities. This horrible situation forced Sadhu Ramchand Murmu to take a step and he started writing to reform the society.
