In this intervention research, it is a question of proposing an organization of the iodized salt sector in Senegal by creating independent units in 3 regions of Fatick, Kaolack and Saint-Louis of Senegal to create jobs in the Agropoles. West African countries get their supplies of iodized salt from Senegal, which produces more than 800 million tons of iodized salt. Non-iodized salt causes diseases such as goiter, bone loss, cretinism, especially in children and pregnant women. These industrial units are a way to use socio-economic management to demonstrate that it is possible to solve these public health issues while creating added value in a sector in decline.
