The purpose of our research is to contribute to the limitation of the risk of accident in the learning of gymnastics on the ground in the school environment. Our study was carried out with a group of thirty-two students in the second grade at Nanisana High School. We also collected qualitative and quantitative data from questionnaires. The engagement in the learning activities made the students to control the risk taking. We observed an appropriation of the program on the cognitive, motor and affective axis. The results reveal an appropriation by the students with the help of a grid that allows us to deduce, interpret and testify the validation of the hypothesis.
