The aim of this study was to identify the actions developed by occupational therapists in the state of Paraná in the process of school inclusion for children and adolescents with special educational needs, and to reflect on the context of inclusive education from the perspectives presented. The results of the study reaffirm the importance of the contribution of occupational therapists in facing the challenges and making school inclusion a reality. They emphasise the need for greater inclusion of these professionals in mainstream schools and the importance of broadening reflections and problematisations in relation to the construction of a more democratic educational system.
