The current book study experimentally the effect of cavitation from the transition zone to fully choked zone on butterfly valve performance coefficients to determine the cyclic behavior of butterfly valve from partially to fully open positions. The current book study experimentally the effect of cavitation from the transition zone to fully choked zone on butterfly valve performance coefficients to determine the cyclic behavior of butterfly valve from partially to fully open positions. Great efforts are investigated in the transition from cavitation inception to fully choked condition which has little research in similar studies. Such a transition is observed in several experiments to evaluate the control valve flow coefficients. As well as, 3D numerical verification by FLUENT 6.3 for the experimental results is investigated. In the book the control valve performance can precisely evaluated by determining the valve coefficients named, flow, pressure loss, dynamic torque, and cavitation coefficients. Different turbulence models in investigating butterfly valve performance characteristics, flow conditions, have been investigated to study the influence of cavitation on these valve coefficients and flow conditions.
