Acharya Charaka has mentioned that The drugs used in Vamana Karma get absorbed by their Virya and reach heart,where-from through the circulation and then via macro & micro channels, the Virya of the drug reaches at the site of the lesion which may bein the form of Dosha Sanghata then breaks it into smaller molecules which can flow through the minute channels of the body and reach to stomach, where-from they are expelled out of body by Vamana Karma.
