Author W. Thomas McQueeney continues to widen his impact upon the literary world. The fourth of nine children, McQueeney graduated with honors from The Citadel and distinguished his career by his volunteerism within the Charleston community. He has chaired or served on more than two dozen state and local boards to include Patriots Point Development Authority, The Citadel Board of Visitors, The State of South Carolina Athletic Hall of Fame, MUSC Children's Hospital, and the National Medal of Honor Center for Leadership. The author was accorded The Order of the Palmetto - the highest award presented by the governor of South Carolina. He has written nineteen books in genres to include history, humor, fiction, and biography.
