Autorenporträt
Linda Hulin works at the Oxford Centre for Maritime Archaeology, University of Oxford. Her research interests include the impact of ruled upon the rulers in imperial contexts; international trade and the processes through which imported objects are normalized; the identification of sailors' quarters on land in the Late Bronze Age eastern Mediterranean; relations between pastoral nomads and coastal settlers in eastern Libya, Bronze Age to Byzantine period; and the material expression of naval identity in English Country Houses. These seemingly disparate projects are linked by a preoccupation with the ways in which humans and objects interact, particularly innovative objects or environments.
