Autorenporträt
Margot Harris is a certified children's yoga and mindfulness educator from Long Island, NY. She has the honor of teaching children as young as 6 weeks all the way through high school. Since 2015, Margot has taught in a variety of settings, including family services, local libraries, wellness centers, gyms, and dozens of schools. As a former early childhood teacher, Margot created hundreds of poems, rhymes, and songs for students to help them recall and process information. Her love of reading combined with a strong desire to serve children is what inspires her to write. Her goal is to empower children to trust themselves, and believe in the strength of their bodies, minds and hearts. She chose to write a children's book connecting her 3 favorite things in this world: Yoga, mindfulness, and cookies! Like cookie dough, Margot believes that all people have the unique ability to stretch and change. Yoga and mindfulness can provide a fun and engaging pathway for children to explore and grow. In addition to cookies, Margot's favorite things are reading, yoga, dance, film and being in nature!
