This book is entitled Cooking with Fielings because he uses cooking as a way to translate all emotions brought to him by his loved ones, friends, and his daily experiences to something delicious and nourishing. Cooking with Fiel.ings book was also made in the hopes of giving back to the community. The proceeds will be donated to Assumption Development Foundation, a non-profit organization that helps the children break the cycle of poverty through education. Alfie "Fiel" Cariño is a licensed teacher and a Theater Arts Graduate in Polytechnic University of the Philippines who has been working as a performer in the biggest amusement park in Hong Kong for 4 years. He is a self-taught cook whose cooking journey started from making his own food to making a wide range of healthy food selections for his friends 3 times a week at a minimum. He believes that eating is a necessity but cooking is an art and that is why his inclination with the arts helps him to come up with ways on how to present all the food he cooks. Most importantly, he always makes sure that every recipe he cooks is infused with love because as the saying goes "cooking with love provides food for the soul".
