With grandparents from Cajun Louisiana, the Philippines, Cuba, and Honduras, Eliana's recipes have international flair. She loves traveling and spending time in the kitchen with her family. Eliana says, Cooking is so much fun. You can be creative and invent new recipes. Eliana plans a series to follow the debut of Cool Kids Cook: Louisiana. Kid Chef Eliana has been selected at the youngest ever recipient of the Top 40 Under 40 movers and shakers award by Gambit Magazine and named one of the 10 Most Famous Kid Critics and Cooks by The Daily Meal and Fox News. She has a global weekly radio show called Cool Kids Cook on the VoiceAmerica Kids network, part of the VoiceAmerica network with more than four million weekly listeners. She has cooked with celebrity Chef John Besh and has been a featured chef at many festivals, including the New Orleans Seafood Festival, the Louisiana Book Festival, and the French Market Creole Tomato Festival. She does numerous media appearances, cooking demonstrations, and book signings, and has appeared on national television shows including The Wendy Williams Show. In the future, Eliana plans to design chef wear and cookware for kids, create a line of spices, and host her own TV cooking show. Her mission is to educate kids and inspire them to explore new foods, because good food is more than chicken nuggets and French fries. Her motto is Cool kids cook and get creative in the kitchen!
