After Beth Zbasnik completed her master's degree, she began teaching college courses. But along the way, she also completed an intense floral design course. She opened the Village Florist in downtown Malvern, Ohio, in 2002, which she then operated for seven years. Even though Beth has spent most of her time in higher education, she has always believed she was born to be a florist. In her spare time, she enjoys evening walks with her husband, discovering out-of-the-way antique shops, fussing with her houseplants, listening to nonfiction audiobooks, and traveling around our great country. But mostly, she loves being with her husband, Phil, and their adult children, Emily and Ben.
