The present research in the book analyzes the process of cooperation and integration between professionals of different generations (Baby Boomer, X and Y), a challenge for higher education institutions in Belém-PA. Its central objective was to analyze in higher education institutions, regarding the methods of cooperation, integration and teaching methodologies between the different generations of professionals. It was adopted a non-experimental study, of descriptive type and of mixed approach: qualitative and quantitative. The research was based on theoretical references about Baby Boomer, X and Y generations; Conflict, cooperation and generational integration; brief history of education; practices, methods and resources adopted by teachers in the classroom. With the research it is evidenced the existence of generations both in the social context and in educational institutions; their characteristics and limitations; generational conflicts; cooperation and integration as a tool for minimizing generational clashes.
