The present book has had as objective to establish the correspondence between the variables social skills and cooperative learning. The investigation was developed under the mixed approach, that is to say qualitative centered in what refers to the theoretical part and with a quantitative application in what concerns to the instruments of measurement that are evidenced in the obtained results; the level corresponds to the descriptive-correlational of non-experimental design of temporary and cross-sectional nature. With the processed information, the correlation between the studied variables was established, showing that 37.6% of the students of the schools of Education and Communication Sciences show that the level of social skills is regular; as for the level of cooperative learning, 37.7% of the students refer that the level is average or regular. Consequently, the results obtained show that social skills are directly related to cooperative learning in the students of the Professional School of Education (ESED) and the Professional School of Communication Sciences (ESCC).
