The present book is the result of an experimental study aimed to investigate the effect of cooperative learning methods on EFL learners with low and high Socioeconomic status . Sixty participants who were homogeneous according to the obtained results of the PET test were selected as the sample for the purpose of the research. The present book is the result of an experimental study aimed to investigate the effect of cooperative learning methods on EFL learners with low and high Socioeconomic status . Sixty participants who were homogeneous according to the obtained results of the PET test were selected as the sample for the purpose of the research. Participants' socioeconomic status was evaluated by adapted version of socioeconomic questionnaire (Kuppuswamy 1976). The results from comparing the partisans' reading scores, indicated that Jigsaw and Numbered Heads Together Cooperative methods have positive effect on reading comprehension of the learners. These methods motivate and activate learning context. So collaboration and productivity are highly increased. Also it was found that Cooperative Learning Methods does not positively affect learners from high SES more than learners from low SES.
