Coping strategies are basic skills, recognized as one of the most important and skills with the greatest impact on the quality of the foundations of social functioning. The aim of this study was to find out which Coping Strategies are most used by Individuals in the Active Drug Use Phase, relating coping strategies to sociodemographic characteristics and characteristics relating to consumption. It was also the aim of this study to identify in this population whether the fact that active substance users have diagnosed chronic illnesses, specifying any illnesses that have been flagged up, contributes to them using coping strategies differently.
