Nanoscience is the science associated with particles ranging in the size of 0.1 to 100 nm, and nanotechnology is the utilization of nanoscience for the design, manufacture and manipulation of particles for applications in various fields.The various nanoparticles (NPs) can be broadly classified into organic(carbon, dendrimers, liposomes etc.,) and inorganic nanoparticles(metallic, metal oxides, fullerenes etc,.). Metallic NPs are composed of iron, copper, nickel, cobalt, silver, gold, and aluminum, having a wide range of applications, such as batteries, explosives, and land restoration. The book is based on copper nanoparticles, their synthesis technology, applications in various fields, their challenges and future prospects. Among the two copper nanoparticle synthesis methods, the bottom-up method seems to be more popular under the guidance of biological and chemical methods. Due to limited knowledge in a specific field, research on biosynthetic methods has been carried out. The manuscript turned to the application of copper nanoparticles, and with it came various challenges they faced. It ends with the future scope of copper nanoparticles and some solutions to the challenges.
