Elaine Hampton'slong career in education and research encompasses both sides of the U.S.-Mexican border. Retired as Associate Professor at the University of Texas at El Paso, she has written five books, including the award-winning Anay's Will to Learn: A Woman's Education in the Shadow of the Maquiladora.
