Autorenporträt
Constance W Fox, Author and Illustrator, was born in 1939 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She interrupted her education at Vassar in 1958 to marry and raise four children, returning to college and earning her BS degree at University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee in 1978. Connie began creating children's books for her grandchildren in her early seventies. She has a unique, refreshing writing style that offers surprising turns of phrase and unexpected plot twists. Her illustrations, usually, as with this book, water color paintings, are vivid and playful. Connie's characters , like the author, are sensitive, curious and exuberant creatures enjoying life to the fullest. Corn Pops and Tomato Juice is Connie's first published book.
