This book presents in its content, an advanced study of the relationship between corporate governance practice and performance of corporate organisations with focus on financial (banks and insurance firms) institutions. Using corporate governance practices stated in the Central Bank of Nigeria code of corporate governance practices 2006 in the banking and insurance industries, the book investigated the content of Nigeria corporate governance for evidence of its impacts on corporate organisations performance. The book provides detailed study, and modelledrisk adjusted returns (RAROC) etc.in the bankingsector, and net premium earned (NPE) etc. in the insurance firms in Nigeria. An extensive discussion of corporate governance practices, as it impacts corporate performance, and based on results obtained from models, is lavished presented in chapter four. This gives an educating insights as to how each corporate governance practice metrics impinges on corporate performance.
