The paper studies thematic stratification of materials about the National Hockey League and the Pittsburgh Penguins club in corporate mass media. With the help of description and thematic differentiation of publications about the league, analysis of approaches of the corporate website to the issues of formation and development of the hockey club the state of work of the press service is considered. The difference in coverage of topical issues of the hockey club functioning in American and Belarusian corporate media is investigated, practical recommendations for improving the information component of the development of the Belarusian hockey club "Dynamo-Minsk" are elaborated.
