Ethiopia is the second largest producer and exporter of Floriculture in Africa and fourth in the world. Floriculture production is now playing a major role in the Ethiopian economy having a considerable potential in creating employment opportunity especially for the young and the women and also in fetching foreign currency earnings. The Floriculture consumer that we have today is more incited; diverse, demanding and responsible for the environment and the social value than the consumer we had some decades ago. Consequently, the demand for floriculture products and services from the consumer side is becoming more and more stringent/sophisticated. Thus, this book, attempts to provide the general concept and programmes of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at the Ethiopian floriculture industry where the CSR practices were analyzed through a triple bottom approach. The investigation obtained would help to ensure all key stakeholders of the sector to work in a balanced manner on economic, social and environmental aspects and in interacting with interested parties outside the sector to keep it going in sustainable manner.
