Autorenporträt
Jean Rott was born and educated in France and received the D. Litt from Strasbourg in 1975. His first volume of Correspondance de Martin Bucer (jusqu'en 1524) was published in 1979 by Brill. His other publications include Quellen zur Geschichte der Taufer. Elsass, Teil I-IV, 1959-88; Investigationes historicae, 1986, 2 vols. He received the laureat from the Institute de France in 1938.
