There is a growing trend to utilize plant extracts compounds as corrosion inhibitor. Corrosion Inhibition of Aluminium in Hydrochloric acid (HCl) by extract of Rose,Marigold and Mustard seeds have been studied using weight loss measurement technique at 35oC. Characterization of green extract was carried out using FT-IR technique. Results confirmed that the extract of Rose, Marigold and Mustard seeds inhibited the acid induced corrosion of Aluminium. The inhibition efficiency increases with increases in concentration of the extract.

Presently, working as Assistant professor in IITE, Gandhinagar. I have completed my B.Sc degree in Chemistry in 2010, M.Sc Degree in Analytical Chemistry in 2012, M.Phil in the field of corrosion science in 2014 and PhD,2018 in the field of Nanoparticles based green corrosion inhibitors under the Guidance of Dr. Nisha K. Shah at Gujarat University.
