Monographic work "Corruption in Kosovo", among others: 1.Addresses the issue of the meaning of corruption and basic criminal law characteristics of this criminal phenomenon, 2.Provides a brief overview on the history of the corruption phenomenon in human society generally, and in particular in Kosovo, 3.Presents data concerning the corruption presence level in Kosovo during the period of time 2008-2014, 4.Makes a theoretical treatment, accompanied by concrete data, some of the most common forms of corruption in Kosovo, 5.Elaborates some of the most influential factors in the appearance of corruption in Kosovo (socio-economic factors, the lack of comprehensive legal base, the non-implementation of existing legislation, ineffective work of state bodies etc.) and 6.Reflects the meaning and role that have some of the types of preventive and repressive measures in combating corruption in Kosovo. During the preparation of this scientific work has been used modern literature published in Kosovo, Albania, Macedonia, Serbia and elsewehere in Europe and the world. Also, were used sources and other knowledges which enabled a more comprehensive treatment of this topic.

Prof. dr. Azem Hajdari was born on September 15, 1961 in Tugjec - Kamenica Municipality ¿ Kosovo. He is working as a professor at the University of Prishtina and is the author of 19 books and 42 scientific articles in criminal law. Also is participating in 14 regional and international conferences.
