The problem of corruption has recently become particularly acute. According to the level of corruption, Russia is one of the unfavorable countries and in the world ranking of anti-corruption in 2021 it takes a low-regarding 137th place. This necessitates the development and implementation of a new anti-corruption policy. The author sought not only to uncover the causes of its unprecedented growth in the last two decades during the reign of President V. Putin, but also to show how anti-corruption policy is set up in the country and what are the real political mechanisms to fight corruption.
