Corruption is a social phenomenon that has existed since the beginning in all communities, present in everyday situations, but which also affects the stricto sensu education system. The present work seeks to study corruption in the stricto sensu education system in the Amazon based on the Theory of Domination, as well as to raise elements that configure corruption in the stricto sensu education system and cause damage to sustainability in the Amazon, in addition to demonstrating the causal relationship of the Theory of Domination and the degradation of scientific knowledge and sustainability, it intends to point out some fundamental bases for facing corruption in a stricto sensu education system in order to satisfy sustainability in the Amazon.Through the graphic representation of the Ishikawa diagram, the causes of traditional domination and corrupt sub-causes that cause the degradation of scientific knowledge and sustainability in the Amazon were highlighted. The study concludes that the domination that occurred in the stricto sensu education system is similar to traditional domination.
