Izara Batres es escritora, poeta y profesora de Literatura en la UCJC, Doctora en Estudios Literarios por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid.Autora de seis libros.En 2016 ha recibido el XXXVI Premio Mundial de Poesía Fernando Rielo.En 2004 fue premiada por la Editorial Siruela, y en 2007 por El País (Certamen Talentos).
