Prof Garcia de Andrade is associate professor of mathematical physics and astrophysics and cosmology at state university of rio de janeiro (UERJ) department of theoretical physics. He has been a visiting fellow in several institutions as Nordita (stockholm) and Freie university theoretical physics at Berlim where he worked with Hagen Kleinert and in Nordita where he started his interest in dynamos in cosmology and astrophysics. He did his post doc in mathematical physics at Roger Penrose General Relativity group at Mathematical Institute of Oxford University where he worked with Paul Tod in torsion theories and defects. Rcently he started working in chiral dynamos and Lorentz symmetry breaking with the Alan Kostelecky group.
