Jeff Deters is an award-winning author and journalist. Cosmo Goes to the City is his debut children's book. His first book, Miracle Moments in Kansas City Royals History, was released in 2017. His book Kansas City Chiefs Legends was a Kansas Notable Book for 2020. Deters previously covered the Kansas City Chiefs, Kansas City Royals and Kansas Jayhawks as a sports reporter. His work has been honored numerous times by the Kansas Press Association and Kansas City Press Club.
