This book examines the phenomenon of non-trafficked women who choose to migrate from one global city to another to perform paid sexual labor in Southeast Asia. Christine B.N. Chin offers an innovative theoretical framework termed "3C" (city, creativity, and cosmopolitanism) to analyze how factors at the local, state, and individual levels work together to shape women's ability and desire to migrate to perform sex work.
