Der Autor hat einen Bachelor-Abschluss der Russischen Öl- und Gasakademie und einen Master-Abschluss der Universität Birmingham. Er verfügt über mehr als 15 Jahre Erfahrung in verschiedenen Entwicklungsprojekten, unter anderem in den Bereichen Umwelt, lokale und wirtschaftliche Entwicklung. Zu seinen wissenschaftlichen Interessen gehören Umweltökonomie, lokale Entwicklung und Agrarpolitik.
