God took their diff erences and united them in their devotion to Him, each other, their family, and their friends. Both of them graduated from Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, KS. Mike was a teacher and career leader in Technology Education who helped change the way education was delivered in schools across the nation. Now, as a retired elementary teacher, Karren knows that the whole family is more secure when their home is their haven. She believes that a mother and her baby are better together. She knows the lifelong positive infl uence of mothers raising their own children. She encourages all women who desire to be a homemaker for their own family. In 2016, Mike was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and the dreams for their golden years were suddenly shattered. He passed away on July 4, 2016, leaving a legacy full of faith, hope, and love that is still being passed down by his children and students. He is forever missed by those who knew him. Karren refl ects on many events that shaped their days together. She shares examples of how God was faithful on every step of their journey, as they were guided by Faith, Hope, and Love.
