As such, the target audience is mathematically motivated and/or intellectually curious High School students. This monograph, whose topic is Counting, presents a selection of observations and calculations that will hopefully surprise the reader with just how complex an activity counting can be! It is hoped that by providing the reader this tiny glimpse into the enormous breadth of mathematics that he/she will be encouraged to venture further down this path. Like the topic of this monograph, Mathematics is essentially unlimited in its scope in ways >No mathematics beyond a standard High School mathematics curriculum is required to understand the technical material covered in this book.
