Agent Sam (Samantha) Mitchell has exploded an alien stronghold, deep in Outback Australia. The reprisals have killed her husband and all her associates. Sam can either give up or try to save Earth's entire human population from conversion to andronic slaves. Sam's quest to save Earth from alien invasion is aided by cryptic advice from a cosmic intelligence network, however there is another competing network. Sam's boundless resourcefulness brings together an unusual resistance team of blacksmiths, retired academic, security guard and managing director of a former cutting-edge tech company. Despite winning many skirmishes, Sam's forces face defeat. Their only chance of survival is to drive their campaign into the aliens' covert stronghold. But the last time this was attempted it ended in disaster. Will they make it out alive this time? Covert Citadel is the second of a series of novels set in near future outback Australia, where pandemic contagion has wiped out 80% of the population and wrecked the economy. If you like a heady mix of alien invasion, human courage and fledgling romance confronting an alien precipice, then you won't put down Rodney Jensen's fast-paced sci-fi page turner.
