The relevance of biopolitics in nations has had its anchor point in the field of medicine, since this scientific knowledge is used to configure a care of the population and to propitiate a certain balance of life. From there arises the interest of conducting a research on Covid-19, seen from the threshold of biopolitics. To develop this study, a qualitative research of documentary type was carried out, where it is inferred about the complexity of identifying which infectious agents in the population have been induced by human ingenuity, however it is not discardable due to the evolution of biotechnological mechanisms, such is the case of Covid-19, which spread tirelessly in the global sphere and paradoxically the alert systems were not activated, which managed to neutralize the agent responsible for the global pandemic.
