The disease "COVID-19" is an infectious disease that was declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO) on March 11, 2020 and was caused by the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). Despite the fact that many people have been vaccinated, the COVID-19 epidemic is causing an increase in morbidity and mortality every day. As with all chronic diseases, patients with chronic kidney failure are at risk of COVID-19 and have a more severe disease. Healthcare professionals should be aware of what approaches should be taken in patients diagnosed with COVID-19 or suspected, from the prevention of COVID-19 disease to the nutrition and travel of the patient.
