COVID-19 in RoC is a disease with an explanatory basis related to the very important cultural determinist that slows down the therapeutic framework enormously. Its understanding in the lives of the Congolese starts from the way it appeared in the country and its spread. This is what justifies the resilience we are seeing. All these practices that the Congolese population is facing, whether they should be stigmatized or not, are referred to there. In other words, a profound struggle is needed to get this population to accept the change in mentality; to convince them that covid-19 is a disease that is decimating and deserves special attention. We recommend to the Ministry of Higher and University Education the replacement of the HIV/AIDS course by a two-credit course on the history of pandemics, in which HIV/AIDS will be only one of many issues to be dealt with. In addition, it should be noted that, apart from this obstinacy, we return to the fact that the population must, as elsewhere, respect the barrier measures. Once again, the Government is called upon to inculturate the concept of the pandemic into the daily lives of the Congolese people.
