Nevada McPherson lives in Milledgeville, Georgia, where she enjoys going for walks, taking pictures, and painting when she isn't keeping her husband Bill and Chihuahua Mitzi out of trouble. A graduate of LSU's MFA Creative Writing Program, McPherson has written several award-winning screenplays, nonfiction pieces, and graphic novels. The latter includes Uptowners, a noir family drama set in New Orleans, its London-based sequel, Queensgate, and Piano Lessons, which is a gay teen romance set in the 1950s rural south.
