In the sprawling metropolis of Russia, amidst the elite neighborhoods of the newly rich, but still steeped in the shared past of the former USSR. On the fractured and intertwined paths of a society recently introduced to the West and the U.S., old acquaintances cross their life lines once again. But life has changed the characters so profoundly that when they meet, they rediscover each other in a whole new light. Once close friends, they now face an unfamiliar world within each other. In an attempt to reconnect and find common ground, they embark on an adventure that feels like a free fall. Will they be able to bridge both in their emotions and in the growing gulf between them?
Born in a city in the southeast of the USSR, Savon Gor grew up influenced by contrasting nature and people, including literature, film, philosophy and psychology. Munich became a second home and a turning point for a passion to explore life. "Crank Generation: 19Ru99ia" is Savon Gor's debut book.
Artheus Publishing was founded by Svetlana Egorova in Munich in 2023, with a broad genre profile but a specific focus on certain authors and themes.
Svetlana Egorova's life is quite complex and multifaceted. Born in the Soviet Union, she carried with her the qualities and dreams of living in a world where everyone was like one big family. Her interest in exploring the world took her to countries that were considered forbidden fruit for Soviet people. Nevertheless, Munich became her second home and a city she fell in love with at first sight. She has been living in fairy-tale Bavaria for twenty years now and continues to grow in the areas of life that most fascinate her: people, cinema, books, history and the whole world.
