Born into a dysfunctional family, of alcohol, physical and mental abuse, with numerous parent changes, Anna never had a chance. She left school, virtually illiterate, at the age of fifteen. Survival was her main task, so there was no hope of career or study paths. Yet, she has managed to make the best of a difficult situation and raised two healthy and well-adjusted daughters.
