Autorenporträt
Brian é formado em Ciência Cognitiva, tem mestrado em Estudos Interculturais e doutorado em Etnomusicologia. Ele trabalhou como linguista, tradutor e etnomusicólogo na República Democrática do Congo e em Camarões nas décadas de 1990 a 2000. Foi Coordenador de Etnomusicologia e Artes da SIL Internacional de 2006 a 2019 e fundou o Centro de Excelência em Artes Mundiais na Universidade Internacional de Dallas em 2012. O projeto de vida de Brian é promover uma investigação apreciativa de dinâmica artística com foco na comunicação para futuros mais parecidos com o Céu. Hoje, tem atuado na arte-terapia, missões cristãs e desenvolvimento comunitário. Ele e sua esposa Bárbara moram em Dallas, Texas.
